ABOUT

I come from a small Rust Belt City in Ohio called Hamilton.  A City that is reinventing the way government works, making it proactive not reactive, sustainable, not wasteful.

My name is Tyler Bridge and like you, I've just moved to Georgetown University to live in the greatest dorm in the United States:  New South.  I came here from a place called Hamilton, Ohio where my great-grandparents settled after working in the coal mines of Kentucky.  They came to Hamilton to work in the now-closed paper factories.  For two years I've worked in Hamilton's Department of Economic Development learning about the functions of government as well as its failings.  I know that government as a whole can do better, and that we have to create effective, sustainable government, not bigger or smaller government.  Working with the City of Hamilton, I proposed my own project entitled PAINT (Partnering with Artists in New Turfs), a $15,000+ reinvestment project to place local artwork on the walls of an cetral thoroughfare.  Along with many other projects, I conducted research into Eco-Industrial Parks and Small Business Incubators, created marketing videos for the City, and raised thousands of dollars to attract nationally recognized events.  If you'd like to know more, stop reading this!  Watch the videos below!
